I decided to release the work in progress version of the text based game. It was never anywhere near finished and has a bug or Two here and there. However, it's been a few months since I've touched it and have no real intention of finishing the text version. I've been learning at a faster rate than expected regarding 2d games programming and it is frustrating continuing with the console app version.
I feel I've gone as far as I need to go with it, and want to move on. Therefore, anyone who is interested in seeing what it looked like, can now download it here:
